Pass the Luck

This week has been nothing less than stressful, and I have had the worst luck. Although I may live in Italy, life still goes one. A side from this week being midterms, which is stressful enough, everything that could have gone wrong did.
The week started with on one of my midterms I somehow forgot to answer three of the short answer questions. I mixed up one midterm with another classes. Then my computer won’t turn on. It all happened by accident when one of my roommates knocked over a glass of water on the table. No matter how fast I picked my computer up, let me tell you it was fast, water some how managed to slip into it. After leaving it off for a couple days, still nothing. So then I am coming home from school on day and my key to the front door snaps in half. The medicine I need the pharmacy is out of. The party I went to, to enjoy a fun night I was asked to do cocaine. Don’t panic I will explain. I clearly said NO! Finally, the coffee shop I wanted to enjoy a nice cup of coffee at was closed today. So please pass you luck this way because I am not having any good luck…
So my computer, luckily there is an apple store about an hour from here. My friend Ashley and I went. We took the bus, which wasn’t too bad. The only issue was it dropped us off in the middle of nowhere. We were looking for a store called the Gligi store. So we went to what looked like a convenient store and asked an elder gentleman who pointed us in the right direction. Our school provided us with directions that the Gligi store was five minutes from the bus stop we got off on. The school was wrong it was about a 20-minute walk to this store. Anyways, we found the store. Phew, I could get my computer fixed. Except no good news came, apple said it would cost 445 euros to fix my logic board, and the chip that goes to my screen. My computer turned on and worked just the screen was black. So this means my computer isn’t getting fixed until I am home. This most likely means I’ll just be buying a new one great. So I grabbed some salty McDonalds fries after to soothe my news. On the way back I think every Italian driver who passed the bus stop either stared or honked at us while waiting 20 minutes for our bus. Anyways we finally made it back to Florence.
Now Saturday night, I planned to have a fun night out with my roommates. We had a good time at this five star hotel. We were by far the youngest people there. We went for a fellow students internship. It was a different scene. Most of the crowd was older mid 40’s. We got there, and were just enjoying ourselves dancing together. Then my friends other friends come who are our age. My roommates are like he’s cute. I’m like no thank you and always trust your instinct. Well I was right. He introduced himself, and I really paid no attention to him. At one point we were all just talking small talk and he was telling us he was about to leave. Then me of all people leaned to me and asked if I wanted to do a line of cocaine? Hello, I am at this extravagant party, in the nicest clothes I have here, do I look like I do cocaine! No thank you! Needless to say we did not stay much longer. (Sorry that probably doesn’t make you feel very good). Don’t worry I wasn’t alone, we took a cab home, and we made it safe. Just is mind blowing the things that come out of peoples mouths.
Anyways that was my week. Let’s hope this week is a bit better.

All dressed up.

Celebrated with good food and a drink at the end of midterms.

A beautifup cup of coffee to start out the day.
